Meetings

The Commission will hold regular meetings on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month in the Village Municipal Building. The meeting will begin at 7 pm.

Everyone is welcome to join with the Commission in studying the Village's form of government and other alternate governmental forms available under the laws of the State of New Jersey.

The Charter Study Commission has concluded its work and is officially disbanded as of February 24, 2011.

History

The Village of Loch Arbour established a Charter Study Commission in response to voters approving a question the November 2010 General Election. The question asked: "Shall a Charter Commission be elected to stidy the Charter of the Village of Loch Arbour and to consider a new charter or improvements in the current charter and to make recommendations thereon?"
